My day was crazy!

I woke up this morning to being told that it was a brown out (like a black out but with half power instead of it fully out) and I went back to sleep. I got woken up again to go on the internet, but the router wouldn't work! SO! I was trying to fix it and, because I'd hardly slept enough to make up for not sleeping for 48 hours, my nerves were shot! So I ended up beating the computer and the router, cursing a lot, and crying out of frustration! So I went back to bed.

After a few hours, I was woken up by ~Soranagi again and basically texted with her all day while I played Harvest Moon. I started a new game... The main guy is Matsuda of Matsuda Farm (xD)... The cows are Daisy and Vaca. The dog is Rikki (from the story Smile <3) The horse will be Aizen (this is a dirty joke for MatsuAizen)... The kid will be Kisuke ('cause I think it'll be blonde). The rooster will be Broth. A chicken will be Kira. Uh... I think that's all I planned... xD

So it turned out, as I thought, that the brown out caused the router to fry... Even though nothing else was damaged and it was in a surge protector. We had to buy another router ($60 down the drain).

I tried to connect it, to no avail. So ~Soranagi insisted I call the tech people. After hemming and hawing and much anguish and dismay... I called.

The first lady was nice and polite, very patient and talked slow enough that I could understand her accent but fast enough that she didn't make me feel like an idiot. She was very helpful. So she got me up to the point that I had to call my internet provider for the name and password (though I ended up just finding them instead of calling) and then I had to call back.

The second lady... She seemed annoyed that I wasn't understanding her. She was impatient and would tell me about six steps at a time very quickly and half the time I was guessing what she was saying. So confusing... But she got me up to the point of having an unsecured network.

So... After a struggle on my own, I managed to make my network secure... and here I am. <3
